I am a trailblazing, first-generation Black female Ph.D. student, in the Geosciences department at Virginia Tech.
After a stint in the oil and gas industry following my undergraduate thesis in Petroleum Geology, I redirected my focus towards environmental science, driven by a deep passion for sustainability.

Outside the lab and lecture hall, I find solace and inspiration in my love for travel and creative expression.
